Grade 5 Writing Content Specialists: We will review On Demand Writing Prompts. We will come to consensus on scoring practices of these writing prompts. We will work with Carl Anderson's book, A Guide to Writing Conferences, to plan out next steps of instruction with small groups. This time will allow Grade 5 Writing Content Specialists to leave with a collective group of lesson ideas based on student needs, as well as a common understanding of what proficient writing looks like from our 5th grade writers.
