There are many Google extensions available to help support teachers and students! Our session will take a look at some of the extensions that you can use to help make your life easier. There will be time during the session to explore the extensions and share ones you already use and love. Intended audience: K-6 Grade.
This session will teach the basics of Canvas for new teachers. It will cover creating modules, syncing grades, creating quizzes, and serve as a Q&A session for teachers. Intended audience: 7-12 Grade.
This session is best suited for novice Canvas users who want to learn how to sync grades with Skyward, learn how to use Speedgrader along with some shortcuts, streamline your grading in Canvas, and get your grading questions answered. Intended audience: 7-12 Grade.
We will explore Canva as a tool to help your students create unique project designs to help engage them in the learning process. We will help you learn how to create a template that can be shared to your students and how to integrate it into Google Classroom. If time allows, we will also discuss the ways we can use it as teachers to add a little extra pizazz to your classroom!
There are some google "hacks" and tools that have helped me teach over the years. The session will include how to pin and create groups, organize your google drive, and move to a digital lesson planning template.
