Accessing Digital Resources using Learning Technology Tools

This professional development session will focus on leveraging Read&Write and OrbitNote to provide greater access to digital resources for all students. In collaboration with the Wayne Assistive Technology (AT) team, a representative from Texthelp will demonstrate the powerful capabilities of these tools, including text-to-speech, word prediction, and PDF annotation; all designed to enhance student engagement and accessibility. Educators will gain hands-on experience and explore the practical integration of these tools into everyday instruction. This session is ideal for teachers and support staff that would like to deepen their understanding of learning technologies that promote accessibility and engagement in a digital learning environment.
