In this session, 3rd-6th grade teachers will be given a tutorial of some ideas on how to use ready to go graphic organizers for reading, writing, content, and beyond. Teachers will also learn how to use Google Slides to create their own graphic organizers and have time to make their own for their and their students' needs.
We will cover the history of Achieve Virtual and show the teacher to student asynchronous experience in our online courses. Our objective is to build teacher interest in our school in order to grow our staff in subjects of need and hopefully increase course offerings online through Achieve Virtual. We will explore Canva as a tool to help your students create unique project designs to help engage them in the learning process. We will help you learn how to create a template that can be shared to your students and how to integrate it into Google Classroom. If time allows, we will also discuss the ways we can use it as teachers to add a little extra pizazz to your classroom!
